Biography

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and a licensed professional clinical counselor. I studied Counselor Education at California State University, Sacramento from 2011-2014 and have been working in the mental health field since 2013. I have wanted to become a therapist since I was an adolescent. As long as I can remember, I have had a strong sense of intuition and empathy for others who crossed my path.

I have worked with individuals ages 13 - 80 years old with mental illnesses that include mood disorders (to include depression and anxiety), thought disorders (psychotic illnesses) and dual diagnosis (substance use as well as other mental health disorders). These individuals have experienced various challenges in life to include trauma, anxiety, depression, various life crises, adjustment to life changes, family conflict, psychosis and suicidal ideation.

I offer both telehealth (video) and in-person sessions.

Feeling safe to open up to others is crucial and I thrive on creating a safe space for others to feel comfortable discussing and processing stressful, painful and confusing issues they face. You don’t have to be alone and/or have to hide troubling thoughts and feelings. We have all experienced pain, shame, guilt and grief. I would be honored to learn more about you and provide the supportive outlet you deserve.

"It is not primarily our physical selves that limit us rather our mindset about our physical limits."
